Dana Wright

Dana Wright is a Ph.D. student in the Marine Resource Economics research group at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Dana came to UiT in 2020 after working as an Economist for Fisheries and Oceans Canada for three years, and she received her Master of Arts in Economics at McMaster University in Canada in 2017. She is joining her supervisor Dr. Yajie Liu on a research visit to the University of Santiago de Compostela this spring. Dana is currently working on her thesis which is focused on using econometrics and other statistical methods to assess the economic impacts of climate change on the lobster fisheries in Canada. In her free time she likes to dance, paint, and travel, and is very excited to explore the beautiful city and surrounding area of Santiago de Compostela.
