12 Feb International Day of Women and Girls in Science

On February 11, the EqualSea Lab organised a meeting to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. It was our first dissemination activity, so we are very proud of it! 🙂

The meeting (entitled ‘How do we change towards a better planet?’) consisted of a webinar with the participation of four scientists focused on biodiversity and human-nature relations: Berta Martín López (University of Leuphana-Germany), Priscila Lopes (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte-Brazil) and Antonio J. Castro (University of Almería) participated. EqualSea Lab researcher Natali Lazzari moderated the activity.

The event was part of the activities of the Spanish network dedicated to commemorating February 11. Students from the Antonio Fraguas Secondary Education Institute in Santiago de Compostela also took part in the meeting.
